The ocean is not scenery
Every wave is real physics and moves everything — swimmers, loungers, the jetski and you. You cannot fight the sea. You only choose who it takes.
They don’t want to be saved
Tourists panic, cling and swim the wrong way. The influencer wades toward the shark for content. The kid follows a seagull into the surf.
Nobody helps. Everybody films.

How many players is Worst Lifeguards?
Four, online: you and three friends. That’s the game, not a limitation.
Is there single-player?
No. It is a game about blaming your friends, and playing alone would just be blaming yourself.
Is there split-screen or local co-op?
No. Online only. Proximity voice is core to the comedy and split-screen cannot carry it.
How long is a shift?
About eight minutes. Easy to start, impossible to explain afterwards.
Will it be in early access?
No. It ships when it is a game.
When does it come out?
No date yet. Wishlist it on Steam and Steam will tell you the day it launches.
Does it run on Steam Deck?
Windows first. Deck is on the list, not on the promise.
